Villa Maya is the result of the renovation of an old manor house from the early 1900s. The historic villa was purchased in 1992 by the Diolaiti family, who restored it to its original splendour with an impressive refurbishment. Villa Maya has been restored according to the principles of bio-architecture, in harmony with the environment and all its components.

For the renovation of the historic villa, natural colours were chosen for the walls and non-toxic materials were selected for the wall constructions. The 25,000 square metre park, full of centuries-old trees, gives guests a feeling of well-being and serenity.
